Coronavirus Cancellations Update

National President Danny Collins has written of his regret at having to cancel some of the programme of events for SSVP Scotland this year. In line with current safety measures, he has decided that it will not be possible to gather for our Annual Meeting at the Corn Exchange Edinburgh on 29th August. This cancellation is in addition to the 175th celebratory Masses which had been scheduled in Glasgow and Edinburgh but were postponed at the start of the Coronavirus outbreak.

Events due to take place in September and October will be considered nearer the time.

Danny adds that he hopes we are in a position to reschedule the 175th celebration Masses for 2021 so that we are able to come together in safety to mark our great achievement.
