Dear Brothers & sisters,
This year the SSVP National Meeting will be held in the Diocese of Dunkeld at the Radisson Blu
Hotel, in Perth.
As your newly elected national president I look forward to welcoming as many of you there as
possible. Some of you I have already met in my previous voluntary role as Social Justice
Coordinator, however I am aware that there are many more of you who I still have the pleasure of
meeting. Therefore, I really encourage conferences where at all possible to send at least 1
representative to this year’s annual meeting in Perth.
It was a deliberate choice by the previous national president and members of the national council
to hold the national meeting in the Diocese of Dunkeld. The hope is that holding it in Perth will
encourage members who haven’t previously attended an SSVP annual meeting to attend, whilst
still be within a reasonable travelling distance for the faithful regulars who always attend. (Full
details for travel / accommodation are included at the end. Please note the costs for these are not
included in the delegate rate.)
Wherever you come from I know you will have a lot to offer. I am particularly keen to hear and
learn from as many different Dioceses / Conferences as possible in the various interactive
sessions.

important occasion.
