Pope Francis- Message for Lent 2017

“The Word is a gift. Other persons are a gift”

This is the title of the 2017 Lenten Message of the Holy Father. During this Lenten Season, it is an ardent desire of the Holy Father that the entire Christian people allow themselves to be converted by the Word of God, that is alive and powerful, capable of leading the human person back to God: only by taking to heart the Word, the gift of God, will it be possible to open the heart to a gift, who is the neighbour, thereby favouring the culture of encounter in our one human family.
