Holy week is upon us.
I wonder how Jesus was feeling at this point.
Holy Week is a time on Lent that I like to reflect on the question Jesus asks His disciples
in Mark 8:27 -29, Luke 9:18 – 20 and Matthew 16:13-16….”Who do you say I am?”
From the readings and events of Holy Week we
know Jesus is the one everyone applauds Palm
Sunday, the organiser who gets the Passover
Meal prepared, the servant ready to wash our
feet, the wrongly accused, the one who loves us
enough to suffer and die for us and the one
who will Rises again to offer us new life.
As you step into Holy Week, listen as Jesus asks you this question,
“Who am I for you today?”
May Holy Week bring you closer to the Lord and ready to receive His
great gift of love on Good Friday and His promise of New Life at Easter.
