Today, Tuesday 27th September, marks the feast day of our patron, St Vincent de Paul. St Vincent inspired the foundation of the Society of St Vincent de Paul, as well as personally founding the Daughters of Charity, the Association of International Charities(AIC) and the Congregation of the Mission. Many other groups and organisation have also been started in his name, such as Vincentian Marian Youth and Lay Vincentian Missionaries. 

SSVP Scotland, along with other members of our Vincentian family, gathered at Carfin Grotto on Saturday to mark this joyful occasion.

Today,  members of this ‘Vincentian family’ will mark this special occasion through prayer, reflection simply in time spent with one another.
