Dear brothers and sisters,

It is my privilege to write to you all on behalf of the Society of St Vincent de Paul, Scotland.

The Lenten Season provides us with the opportunity to reflect, repent, forgive, and demonstrate our compassion for others through our acts of charity.

Members will be aware that they normally would receive a personal copy of the Easter Edition of the Ozanam News which includes information about the many works of charity that we are able to provide daily to those in need.

It is therefore regrettable that owing to unforeseen circumstances this year’s edition of the Easter Ozanam News will not be published.

However, we are pleased to inform members that the encouraging reports from the members attending the National Council meetings reassure us that we continue to deliver support within those parishes that the SSVP Scotland conferences are present and that the generous regular donations enable us to support our brothers and sisters through our Twinning and International Aid donations to people in troubled parts of our world.

 In conclusion I send Easter Blessings from the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Scotland to our brothers, sisters, friends, and volunteers for their invaluable contributions.
