Pens at the ready! -Still Time to Enter Essay Contest

The International General Council (CGI) of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul has decided to extend the deadline for the submission of writings to its International Literary Contest “The First Conference,” which in 2020 is about the life, work and legacy of SSVP co-founder Félix Clavé.

The new deadline is 24th August. The winner of the contest will be announced on 9th September, Feast day of Blessed F. Ozanam.

As this is an International competition, it would be a real success for us if the winner came from Scotland! Great use of time in (hopefully) the last stages of lockdown.
