Rev Fr Robert P Maloney CM – International Spiritual Advisor
The Council General International (CGI) for SSVP are delighted have appointed Rev Fr Maloney as our new Spiritual Advisor
Rev. Fr. Robert P. Maloney, C.M. was the 23rd Superior General of the Congregation of the Mission (CM), serving in this capacity from 1992 to 2004. He was born on May 6, 1939 in Brooklyn, New York, USA and was ordained priest at Mary Immaculate Seminary in Pennsylvania on May 28, 1966.
He has been very active in Vincentian projects such as Beyond Dreams and the Hope project for Haiti after the earthquake in 2010.
Although priests and Daughters of Charity are not members of the society, they are our spiritual guides in our daily work to help those who are most in need. Spirituality is essential to Vincentians all over the world and each conference has a spiritual advisor.
